Tekkit as the server, March 28th, 2012
Due to popular demand the server is now running tekkit instead of bukkit. This mean that if you want to connect to have to use the tekkit launcher, which can be found http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/. Not sure how stable tekkit is as a server and the plugins are down again because of this. The dynmap is up but, stats are not updating atm. Spleef and other plugins are not installed yet untill i have more time to make updates.
Server Status Monday March 12th,2012

Server:
The new server is being hosted outside of my house by a hosting company. I decided to do this because I got a really good deal a VPS that should be able to handle the load of the server. I am currently focused on getting the plugins to work properly.I am also waitinf for the next recommend server build as it should fix a number of bugs I have been seeing. Once this happens I will be shutting down the server that is running from my house. I will give everyone a heads up of when this will be happening.

OP commands:
I've decided to de-op everyone on the server. It's nothing personal, it has to do with the plugins, for locked chests mostly. Any op can open any chest which completly makes the plugin useless. Most everyone also agrees that gamemode 0 should not be turned on. The /give command will still be available. Time can be changed using /vote.
To help get around there will be a warp plugin to allow you save locations and be able to teleport to them. This is ment to replace flying that creative mode allowed.

Poll:
Sometime durring the next week I will be setting up a poll for some plugin related things that might be cool. One of them will be about tekkit which was recommended by Richard. It seems to extend the redstone system, as well as add new functionality to be able to build larger machines and moving blocks. I am also wondering what everyone thinks about starting the map over.
